As in life, my photography is a constant state of evolution. Selected as an artist for the 2016 and 2014 New Texas Talent XXIII, XXI Exhibitions through Craighead Green Gallery by Andrea Karnes, Curator of Modern Art Museum of Ft. Worth and Frank Hettig, Director of Modern and Contemporary Art, Heritage Auction. Currently residing in Dallas, Texas.
To travel is to be alive, otherwise I'm just existing. I have been extremely blessed to have been able to travel around this world absorbing varied mindsets and cultures. Some of my favorite ports of call have been Copenhagen, Paris, Lisbon, Madrid, Istanbul, London, Berlin, Melbourne, Mykonos, Amsterdam and Sydney. I have experienced just a small fraction of what lies out there. Iceland remains my top desired destination, along with exploring Europe more in Budapest, Munich and Belgium.
Being able to combine my two passions of traveling and photography is when I am truly happiest. My style is to disappear in the background being a fly on the wall and capture the true experience of the city i am visiting. Not just another image of beautiful architecture or landmarks, but to really explore and find the true essence of the city through the people and paths less taken. Travel photography colliding with street photography.
I never crop a photo. Every image is a direct reflection of the thought and intent put into each frame. I prefer highly zoomed photos as I am hoping to capture images that allows one to focus more intently eliciting feeling or offers an alternate perspective of the familiar.
Please message me for any further information. My goal is to make a career in photography and am available for assignments.
